Can Corsicana Overcome Injuries?

Corsicana TigersMy name is Mary Frances Rash. My son is Zack Rash and plays quarterback for the Tigers. I am the Vice President of Spring Sports for Corsicana High School Booster Club. I have been involved with the Booster club for 4 years.

Corsicana and Waxahachie have had a rivalry for many years. The towns are about 30 minutes apart and we have been district rival for many years. This is the first year in a while that we have not been in the same district.

Last Week’s Win Proved Team Has Heart

We are 1-2 so far this year. The Tigers have been working hard this year and this week will be even tougher. Last week, we lost the starting quarterback to an injury. Two other offensive players were also injured in the game but they should be able to return hopefully for the game Thursday. The team did pull together and come back to win the game Friday night. I think the injuries showed the team and our fans that they have a lot of heart and can overcome big obstacles and still come out to win. This will help us Thursday night and of course, we are playing at home!!!

I want to remind all our fans to wear blue for the big game. If you can’t come, watch the Tigers play on CBS TV (TXA21) or listen on KAND. Go Tigers!
