Welcome to the Children’s HealthSM Children’s Medical Center Player of the Week poll for 2014 where you can vote each week for one of five high school football players from North Texas.

Be sure to tune in to the TXA 21 High School Kick-Off Show Thursday or Friday throughout the season when the Children’s Medical Center Player of the Week will be announced during the show. If you miss the broadcast, check back here to find out who was selected, and watch the TXA 21 sports clip.

High School Player of the Week Winners for 2014

Week 0 – Malik Jefferson, a senior linebacker from Mesquite Poteet, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 0 thanks to his 15 tackles, 3 for a loss; 1 sack; and 2 blocked extra points.

Week 1 – Tyson Spencer, a senior linebacker from Flower Mound, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 1 thanks to his 23 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble return for a touchdown and 1 sack.

Week 2 – Jackson Townsend, a linebacker from Richardson, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 2 thanks to his 6 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception return for a TD.

Week 3 – Lawson Ayo, a wide receiver from Sunnyvale, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 3 thanks to his 149 yards receiving and 4 TDs.

Week 4 – Chris Warren, a running back from Rockwall, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 4 thanks to his 236 yards rushing, 4 TDs.

Week 5 – Isaiah Duarte, a running back from Birdville, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 5 thanks to his 213 yards rushing on only 15 carries and 5 TDs.

Week 6 – Bo Schneider, a quarterback from Jesuit, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 6 thanks to his 431 yards passing and 5 TDs.

Week 7 – Nathan Elliot, a quarterback from Celina, was our High School Player of the Week winner for Week 7 thanks to his 388 yards passing and 5 TDs.
