Football accident lands student in ED – CBS 11

June 5, 2012  –  CBS Ch. 11 covers the story of Ethan Fox who was injured during an impromptu game of football during school recess and was admitted to the Children’s Medical Center Dallas emergency department with a skull fracture and arterial bleeding.

Thanks to Ethan’s teacher, paramedics and Children’s pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Bradley Weprin, Ethan walked down the hallway with his dad and physical therapist Amber McCreary only two days after the accident and was discharged from the hospital two days later. The take away from this story is that head injuries should never be taken lightly.
