New Technology Sniffs Out Bacterial Infections

Aug. 6, 2012 — CW33 News reporter Barry Carpenter shares the story of baby Kensley and the mass spectrometer at Children’s Dallas. The spectrometer can diagnose a bacterial infection in about 30 seconds compared to the 3 days other methods typically take. Children’s is one of only three pediatric hospitals in the country with the high tech bacteria buster.
