Phillip Phillips, winner of the eleventh season of American Idol, recently visited Children’s Medical Center Dallas where he sang Home and visited with patients at Seacrest Studios, part of The Red Balloon Network.

Phillip won American Idol viewers’ hearts with his down-home Georgia attitude and unique musical style. During Idol, Phillips suffered from a congenital kidney condition, and after Idol finished he underwent kidney reconstructive surgery.

    He looks so much healthier now, hope the surgery corrected the problem.
