Who Will Take Home the Traveling Trophy?

Rockwall HeathThis week we play the Rockwall Yellow jackets.  This game is always a big one.  All of Rockwall turns out for the game, it seems. The game has been deemed the I-30 Classic and is a highlight of the season for both teams.  There is a traveling trophy that the winner of the game gets to keep for the upcoming year.  Overall, there are large amounts of red and orange around town this week.

The Hawks are 3-1 so far this year, including a win over Rowlett last week 45-0.  We have some great kids on our team.  They are talented players, but more than that, they are great human beings.  We have 4 players that have already verbally committed to NCAA, Division I universities:  Raaquan Davis – Baylor, Jay Arnold and Jordan Points – Texas A & M and Chase Regian – University of Louisiana, Monroe.

Rockwall-Heath High School is a special place to me.  Out of all the places that my husband and I had to choose from when relocating to Texas, 4 ½ years ago – we chose Rockwall as our Home.  I wouldn’t change it for anything.
