Will the Tigers Seize the Knights?

Lancaster TigersMy name is Monica Addison.  I have been a part of the mighty Tiger family for the past four years.  I have two sons that are parts of the varsity and junior varsity squads at Lancaster High School.

Once again the time has come for Friday Night Lights as the Lancaster High School Tigers take on the Dallas Kimball Knights at Sprague Stadium. It has been years since these two teams have had the opportunity to compete against one another, but now the time has come!  In this highly anticipated game the Tigers offensive and defensive squads that dominated Fort Worth Nolan Catholic 35-24 and the #1 ranked John Tyler Lions 26-21, are set to seize another win over the Knights on this coming Friday.

Tigers on Their Way to Becoming District 4A Champs

In our school’s second year under the leadership of Head Coach Christopher Gilbert our boys are fired up and on their way to become District 4A Champs. In last year’s season the Tigers fell short against Kilgore in the second round of the playoffs, but this year with quarterback Demarcus Ayers and Nick Harvey the Freight Train Crew is moving full speed ahead with running back Joe Paden and Roderick Needum ready to run over competing defensive players. While our offensive players are revved up and ready to roll, our defensive side has the line locked up blocking anything that attempts to break through the ranks.

There is always a rumble in the jungle, so make sure you keep your eye on the Tiger!!!!!
